If you are on the look for new heights to conquer then you must direct your steps and your wheels to Campulung! The 8th edition of the Lupii Dacilor-Trofeul Muscelului cycling event, conceived by Razvan Juganaru, opens the gates to a superb natural setting, alongside breathtaking courses, figuratively and literally speaking, ready to take you up to one of the highest points reached in Riders Club.

 

The effort to pursue the winding trails of the Iezer-Papusa mountain ridge through steep ramps and alert descends will offer as reward its weight in dreamlike landscapes, spectacular trails and cool forests. There is no doubt that the invitation of Lupii Dacilor-Trofeul Muscelului is not one to be missed; it will offer one experience that you must live if you declare yourself an MTB enthusiast.

Course marking

The course will be thoroughly marked and cleaned in the week prior to the event. Course markings will be announced during the technical briefing, prior to the start of the race.

 
Actualizare traseu scurt: traseul in forma finala va avea 14 km.
 
Traseul va avea 12 km cu diferența de nivel de aproximativ 200m.
 
Primii 2 km se va merge în spatele masinii de politie, sub forma de start festiv, pe soselele din oras, apoi pe langa fosta uzina Aro se va da startul tehnic din mers. Va parcurge o portiune din traseul adultilor, dar va strabate cea mai accesibila portiune, traseul fiind unul destinat incepatorilor fara coborari tehnice sau zone periculoase. Va strabate, pe rand, fostele zone industriale Aro si Fabrica de fibra sintetica. La final, concurenții se vor bucura de o coborare ușoara, pe o poteca frumos amenajata din apropierea sosirii.
 
Cursele disponibile pentru acest traseu sunt:
- Agrement non-competitiv Open ( 14+ ani)
- Competitiv 5-7 ani, 8-10 ani, 11-13 ani nivel 4.
 
Forma finala a traseului poate suferi modificari fata de varianta prezentata mai jos. Orice modificare majora va fi comunicata corespunzator, prin intermediul site-ului si pe e-mail.

The Standard route is open to participants over the age of 14. All riders will cross the route only once. The following competitive races are available:

- Male | Level 2, Open;

- Male | Level 3, Male | Level 4, Female | Level 2, Female | Level 3, Female | Level 4, for age categories 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49 and 50+ years old;

- Male | Elite, Female | Elite, for age category 15-18 years old.

The track prezented below was used at the 2019 edition of the race. The 2021 version of the track can be slightly different. Any major modifications will be indicated on this page and through e-mail.
